The Working Committee for Application and Evaluation of Detection Technology of the China Association of Special Equipment Inspection (CASEI) was established in 2020 and currently has 290 members. It brings together experts from various fieldsincluding safety supervision, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, inspection, as well as academic and research institutionswho specialize in the research, application, and management of non-destructive testing (NDT). These experts represent a wide range of industries such as petrochemicals, energy, construction, transportation, and aerospace.

 The committee aims to unite efforts within the NDT field, promote the development of detection technologies, standardize their application, and support public research, collaboration, promotion, third-party evaluation, training, and talent exchange. It also assists the association in the technical evaluation of NDT personnel, leads the development of group standards, and participates in national and industry standards to enhance the overall level of detection technology and support the safety and high-quality development of special equipment.

 According to the committee’s plan, the First Meeting of the Second Session of the Working Committee for Application and Evaluation of Detection Technology and the Second New Technology Exchange Conference on NDT of Special Equipment will be held in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province from November 5th to 6th. The agenda includes work summaries, future plans, committee reelection, thematic discussions, expert presentations, paper speeches, and an exhibition of advanced NDT equipment.
