Recently, a delegation led by YBhg Ir Haji Mohd Hatta Bin Zakaria, Director General of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia, visited the Shanghai Institute of Special Equipment Inspection and Technical (SSEI), which serves as the secretariat for the International Exchange and Cooperation Working Committee of the China Association of Special Equipment Inspection(CASEI). The delegation was received by leaders of SSEI including Zhai Guanghui and Jin Yan, as well as representatives from the Special Equipment Division of the Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation.

Zhai Guanghui welcomed the visitors and accompanied them on a tour of the facilities. Jin Yan provided an overview of SSEI's activities, particularly its third-party inspection services for exports to Malaysia and team capacity building initiatives. Director Hatta commended SSEI's comprehensive capabilities and expressed interest in establishing a branch of the institute in Malaysia.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on future cooperation, reached preliminary agreements, and decided to establish a regular communication mechanism to support mutual benefits under the "Belt and Road" initiative. Relevant secretariat staff from the Association also attended the meeting.
