From November 5 to 8, 2024, the 2024 National Vocational Skills Competition - the 2nd National "Doppler Cup" (Nondestructive Testing Personnel) Vocational Skills Competition in the Special Equipment Inspection and Testing Industry was held at Guangdong Lingnan Modern Technician College in Guangzhou. The competition was jointly hosted by the CASEI and other organizations, and organized by Guangzhou Doppler Electronic Technologies Co., Ltd.

 This competition brought together 125 teams and 267 participants from 20 provinces across China, featuring both individual and team competition categories. The individual competition consisted of the preliminary round, challenge round, and final round.The preliminary round included theoretical assessment, radiographic film evaluation, and other components.

For the first time, the competition featured a "Man vs. Machine" segment, in which 12 teams competed on the same stage with their intelligent film evaluation systems against manual film evaluation.

Zhang Hua, Secretary-General of the China Association of Special Equipment Inspection(CASEI) , delivered a closing speech, thanking the organizers and staff. He noted that the competition would attract more young people to engage in the industry and expressed expectations for the continuous development and growth of the industry.
