The 21st Exchange Conference on High-Quality Development in the Special Equipment NDT Industry was held under the theme “Digital Intelligence Innovation.Shaping the Future,”in Chongqing from March 25 to 27. Organized by the CASEI, the conference brought together nearly 600 heads of non-destructive testing institutions from across the country.

The event aimed to enhance communication, promote industry self-regulation, address key challenges, and support high-quality development in the sector.

Keynote speeches were delivered by several leaders, including Wang Jun, President of the China Special Equipment Inspection & Research Institute（CSEI）, who proposed four key proposals. The experts such as Shen Gongtian, Ding Jie, and Ma Lifeng presented on intelligent inspection standards, recent advances in NDT standardization, and radiation safety,

Ten specialists shared insights on topics including smart detection technologies, and a roundtable discussion explored pathways for digital and intelligent transformation in the industry.  

Two thematic seminars were also held during which a joint industry initiative and a research report were released. An accompanying instrument exhibition attracted over 80 exhibitors who launched multiple new products; a virtual tour of the exhibition drew more than 16,000 person-times.

Moving forward, the association will continue to serve as a bridge for the industry, fostering digital innovation and sustainable development.
