The training program themed "Elevator Maintenance, Upkeep,and Inspection Technology" was held in Macao on April 12 and 19. Hosted by the Macao Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and co-organized by institutions including the CASEI, it attracted over 100 local engineers and industry representatives.

Macao's new elevator safety regulations, which took effect on April 1, have set higher requirements for elevator maintenance, upkeep and inspection personnel. Representatives from institutions of both the Chinese mainland and Macao, including Kwong Wai-man, President of the Macao Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, attended the opening ceremony.

The training was divided into three modules, with four experts respectively explaining elevator principles and failure cases, maintenance and upkeep rules, as well as inspection standards. Participants found the program beneficial and gained valuable insights from it..
